Stress

It is one of the most common causes. A pet hamster stresses very easily. So we must be aware that if we do not take good care of our hamster, being aggressive will be an ugly consequence. Stress not only implies that our pet becomes aggressive, but it also brings other more serious problems. On many occasions, it can be caused by the fact that at home if we have a cat as a pet, our pet hamster will be afraid. We must be attentive and confirm that it is the cat that makes our rodent sick. Look for a solution by moving it away to prevent it from becoming violent due to stress. As a result of stress, they can also suffer from rabies and this makes them even more aggressive.

You pissed your pet hamster off

If you like to bother them, keep in mind that you can receive an attack from them. This is because they do not like it. Being animals that are now domesticated, before they were wild so biting is an attitude they have. This is because they are small animals they are easy to be hunted. So biting is like in defense mode. You should not bother your pet hamster so that they do not feel threatened.

Touch it when you are resting

They get aggressive when they are sleeping. If you come and touch them out of nowhere they will get up scared and immediately bite you. Another thing is when they are eating out of fear that their food will be taken away, their reflection will be to attack you. Before grabbing your pet hamster it is important that you wash your hands. They can smell food and that will get their attention. They will want to bite you because they mistook your hand for food. Pet hamsters that are newly adopted tend to be very aggressive. This is because they don’t know their new home, so offer them comfort. Put them in a large cage with toys and enough water and food.
