Cutest Snake

One of my friends likes every kind of pets, whenever she gets one her pet must be the cutest. This time she was trying to find a new and cutest snake as a pet and she needed help. So, it was my responsibility to look and find for the cutest snakes out there and followings are what I discovered.

So which is the cutest type of snakes that make adorable family pets? The leading top 7 cutest snake types out there are Royal Phytons, Hognose Snakes, Corn Snakes, California King Snake, Boa Constrictor, Carpet Pythons, and Green Tree Python. These special yet cutest snake types differ in size, character, and color. These types all make terrific pets for those looking for a nontraditional buddy.

Honestly, all snakes are winners. These types have topped the charts in levels of cuteness.

1. Boa Constrictors

Boas are amazing pet snakes, they grow to become quite sizable and fairly heavy-bodied. They are an excellent pet snake for someone who wants a larger snake. Still one of the cutest snakes. The important point that stands out amongst boas is their intelligence and curiosity.

Boas, in general, are simply more interactive pets than the common snake and really show their personality. Between this and their overall appearance with the heat pits and slim neck boas definitely, look fearsome. These snakes are brilliant for any keeper that wants a somewhat different experience. When it involves breeding you do not need to worry about incubation or looking after fragile eggs, boas have live young!

2. California Kingsnakes

Kingsnakes are a great alternative for keepers who like their pets slightly feistier and make a great pet snake for those who have some knowledge. California Kingsnakes are the corn snake alternative for adventure seekers. They grow 5-6 ft and remain fairly light-bodied. With their amazing feeding response, you never have to bother with your snake not eating.

Though they are slightly more aggressive by nature once out of their room they can be as tame as a corn snake and make great pet snakes. Many kingsnakes will relax the longer you have them and could be as tame as any other snake, they just make you work for it.

3. Royal Pythons

Royal Pythons are a massive portion of the snake world are widely offered. They are a great beginner snake for keepers that would prefer a massive bodied snake. These snakes generally have a great temperament and are relatively easy to care for. Though they can occasionally be picky with their food, keeping them in the correct setup usually prevents this. Royal pythons come in a range of color and pattern morphs meaning there is a pattern color combo to suit all tastes.

4. Carpet Pythons

Adorable Carpet pythons are this listing first look at arboreal snake species, they tend to get long and slender with handsome looking faces as the cutest snake. So they will spend quite a lot of time up in the mid to top parts of their vivarium making them a great pet for show.

When they are younger they may be quite snappy but as they mature they can make great handling pets too. Many keepers take on carpets as a challenge and enjoy their initial personality. Depending upon the species you get they can range from 7-12ft or more and have a lot of natural colors and patterns.

5. Corn Snakes

Beautiful Corn snakes as pets are also big in the pet field mainly due to their great and curious character. They are the ultimate starter snake for any person joining the hobby as they rarely miss a meal and are really easy to look after. Also, they can grow to 6ft (typically not though ) but always stay thin-bodied making them a good choice for people who aren’t as fond of the heavy-bodied snakes. For many years breeders have proven out hundreds of different color and pattern morphs from black to blood red and anything in between.

How long do corn snakes live? Frequently asked and the answer is they can live up to 20 years in captivity but the average lifespan is 15 years. Interestingly they can only live 6=8 years in the wild.

Don Soderberg of South Mountain Reptiles in Texas purchase the snake from its new owner and the adult male Corn Snake (later named PALMETTO) was shipped to Texas.  Palmetto corn snake was chosen as a name for this unique and beautiful corn snake for the state in which it originated (Palmetto is the official nickname for South Carolina, referring to the state tree, the Sabal Palmetto, Inodes palmetto).

6. Western Hognose Snakes

Funny but cute looking western hognose snakes are most famous for their upturned nose used for tunneling in the wild. So they actually have some very fascinating aspects that you do not see in other similar snakes. Not only are hognoses fairly small compared to other snakes maxing out at 4-5ft. They are also rear-fanged and spend a significant amount of time burrowing. Also, they are one of the cutest snakes.

Just one of the most passive snakes and are very unlikely to bite anything that isn’t food however they are also one of the most vocal. When feeling in danger these snakes puff up and spread their neck like a cobras hood, they hiss quite loudly and mimic a defensive position. This is all a complete bluff though. If they strike they will tend not to open up their mouth and usually bounce off things. Their main defense is to escape and if that doesn’t work they roll over and try to play dead. They are adorable!

7. Green Tree Python

Adorable color, Green tree pythons are absolutely beautiful. They start life as thin yellow snakes and spend most of their time off of the ground. Just like a lot of tree-living species they have an ‘attitude problem’ and are a great challenge for keepers with some experience.

As they grow green tree pythons change from a neon yellow color with speckles of brown to a vibrant green snake with speckles of blue or yellow. They are truly spectacular when fully grown and are the best display pet.
