The Sphinx breed is one of the most special cats because it is a species that does not have much hair as other cats. They also have an ideal character for the family: calm and affectionate. Skin care
It is undoubtedly the main point and that differentiates it from the rest of the hairy breeds. The most important thing, in this case, would be to watch the temperature. In cold seasons, it is advisable to keep it at 20 degrees.
For the months of intense heat, you must be very careful with the sun. To guarantee safety for your pet sphinx, make sure it does not hit their unprotected skin directly. Since, like humans, it could cause burns.
Cleaning
It is essential to be attentive to their hygiene. Being hairless, the sphinx cat often sweats due to its high temperature. Ideally, gently wipe them with damp towels to avoid the presence of fungus.
As they also do not have eyelashes or eyebrows, their mechanism is to produce greases to protect the eyes and ear waxes. You should get special hygiene products for those areas.
Vaccinations for your Pet Sphinx
Agree with your vet to have the vaccinations for your cat up to date. This breed can be vaccinated against female leukemia, infectious peritonitis, herpesvirus, panleukopenia calicivirus, chlamydia, and rabies.

Deworming
