Imagine! You have a new member of the family, basically your new cute puppy. But… there’s something flooding your mind. What if your child(ren) won’t like and welcome them? Within you and the dog, that anxiety can be activated.

May the Introductions Begin.

In a silent room or area, try to include the child and puppy together and (perhaps) allow your kid to give him or her a treat. Basically, doing this will build some trust between the two. Don’t require the young puppy into a conference he or she isn’t prepared to manage.

How the Kid(s) can Prepare

Kids need to be prepared and also be told about the new animal coming. They ought to ask inquiries regarding anything that they are uncertain about, worrying about the pup. They should be informed just how to deal with the new pup so it won’t really feel terrified or scared and also try to attack. Read a book relating to young puppy care to the child. Explain to your child how to approach the pup without causing any harm to it. There must be rules or guidelines so that the youngster can manage the puppy at an appropriate level.
Tell them to NEVER hit or even injure the pup, since it might attack back and be aggressive. They need to understand that. Lookout and see, so that they don’t step on them or pinch their ears.
Pet responsibilities should NOT be handled by your kid. However, under adult supervision, the least they can do is to feed and/or play with them. Teach them to love and also support the pup to make sure that it will become a charming affectionate dog.

Tug-Of-War With the Canine!

Regardless of the condition or situation, the kid should NOT play tug-of-war with the puppy.

This is a game of dominance to the young puppy. Even if the youngster wins, the pup thinks it is alright to play rough in the future.

To prevent scaring the poor puppy, do NOT allow the child to scream at them, or even bark at it.

As long as you take the time to instruct children the appropriate method of dealing with the brand-new young puppy, child and puppy can live together in happiness.

Certain types of pets won’t allow this to happen, only on a few occasions…
