Pet Dog: Toys not suitable for dogs

Entertainment and leisure in our pets are just as important as for us. In many cases, a toy is not necessary, since the simple fact of playing with them is highly satisfactory. However, toys not only encourage their physical activity, but also mental. When it comes to getting one of these toys, we must make sure that they are designed specifically for them. The best thing when choosing a toy is that it is especially suitable for your pet dog. Many times we unconsciously leave our pets with toys that can be life threatening.

Teddies for your pet dog

If you see the heading above, it may seem surprising. This is mostly because of the fact that we have all seen a pet dog nibbling and destroying a stuffed animal. But we do not stop to think that this stuffed animal may have a piece that is badly sewn. Or simply just glued. Or also, that the fluffy white filling may contain a harmful component for your animal.

Unfortunately for our pet, this usually leads to intestinal obstruction. This is due to the accidental ingestion of any of these parts. In these cases, an urgent visit to the vet is required. If we reward our pet dog with a stuffed animal, we must acquire a special one for them.

Tennis balls – unsuitable toys for dogs?

What? Tennis balls as unsuitable dog toys?! Well, it is something very common and what is usually used. We throw a tennis ball at our pet dog and it comes back to us nibbling it with more or less intensity. While this is not overly damaging, it can become a problem if the dog becomes obsessed with it.
